Coolant level sensor

Can anyone tell me where the coolant level sensor is on a 2014 C180 1.6 petrol engine (38000mls). The coolant level warning keeps appearing despite the level being ok.

Normally they are located in the expansion tank , if you see an electrical connection on the expansion tank that is normally it.

They are paddle float switches so maybe it has stuck in the down position if the tank has run dry at any point ?

Thanks I'll check that, it must be something like that because it's intermittent and the warning isn't permanently on.
