Hi, new to the forum.
Thought I would just post this quick message.
Had a coolant light come on but level was fine. Heated seats flashing. Read all threads etc. I did have a blown 100amp fuse on the battery. Proceeded to check all fuses etc, including the 10amp hidden back of box. Went thro all recommendations, still light would not go out, sometimes wouldn’t come on for a kilometre or so. In the end I just happened to check the viscous fan only to find it wasn’t spinning correctly, 1 blade was broken preventing it from working properly, managed to repair it and all is good now. 👍🏻
Hope this helps others as I had exhausted all options advised from the forum. Thanks

Welcome.

The coolant light, is it the light that shows that the engine coolant's temperature is too high? Or that the coolant level is too low?

Either way, if the temp gauge shows normal temp, and the coolant level is fine, then it could either be a faulty sensor, or an electrical issue - e.g. cables chafing, or a short-circuit due to water or oil ingress into a wiring loom etc.

(It could also be the result of air trapped in the coolant system, but only if the coolant has recently been replaced)
