Cooling fan on, rubber smell, help please.

Thanks one and all.

I have driven 100 trouble free miles today with the gauge steady at 90.

I can only assume it was the DPF regeneration.

What threw me was that I'd never noticed the smell/fan on before in all the time I've owned the car.

Well, that's certainly the cheapest option! In the short term at any rate.

So, now is there a DPF delete in prospect (being the mod alluded to previously)?
