I Have a 2010 grand edition CLS that came with a factory fitted AMG body kit, it appears from the literature that the cornering light function is not available when the body kit is fitted.

Can someone please explain why and if it's possible to have it enabled via STAR?

Many thanks
Chris

No help whatsoever but I noticed my CLS AMG didn't have this.

Seems odd, when my e320 sport with AMG body kit had it.

You can enable this with star for CLS55 AMG.

Not sure about other models

It's simply a coding thing. That said though the fog lights will not have the correct lens/reflector design to throw the light wide enough to the side. The effect will be minimal with the AMG fogs.

I did this on my 203. Enabled the cornering light function but had to change the fogs to get any real benefit.

Spot on, AMG fog lights are small round ones as opposed to the large oval ones that are fitted to cars with the cornering function and these won't fit the AMG bumper.

Apparently, but not sure how I know they are working

For the W211 E-Class you need to be moving, the headlights won't move when you dry steer.

It should be the same on the CLS.

at about 5 mph (look on the ground/walls) it should be obvious to see they move as you steer.
