Morning All,
Quick question with regards to the using the correct, but also most powerful battery possible. Since the recent cold snap, my 2015 CLS 220 shooting brake has been problematic in starting. As I only do 10 miles at a time in the car most days, I figured it would likely be the battery, and opted to buy a new one and have it fitted by RAC. From their website, I opted for the biggest battery listed, which was also advised, but the patrol engineer that has arrived at my house says it is too big, and will not fit. The battery I have orderd is:-
Varta AGM Battery 019
95Ah 850cca
L353 x W175 x H190
Can someone confirm or deny if this battery is OK for my car, and that it will fit in the battery bay? I don't know why it would be listed, if it does not fit the car. It is my wife dealing with this guy at home, whilst I am at work, and he has gone off to get the correct battery. I would prefer he just fitted the one I ordered.
Your speedy advice would be much appreciated.
