That looks a bit freakish. Possibly been opened onto a high kerb and scraped allowing rust to begin?

I thought the doors, like the bonnet, boot lid and front wings on W205s were aluminium? Having said that, Ali can corrode.

Like others, first corrosion on a 205 that I've seen!

That looks more like the product of a very poor repair to me. The shape of the door is all wrong whilst the rear door is perfect

The doors on my 2018 C250 are made of aluminium so I can't imagine it'll rust.

Looks like aluminium corrosion. Bit of an eye sore, but not really an issue like rust would be.

Rust is only an issue if you don't address it early when it's cheap to sort.

Mines 4 years older than that and it's not got any rust anywhere. Poor repair I think

That’s my feeling, a poor repair. The corner of the front door is not even the right shape

It would be interesting to know what the outcome is to this and to some thoughts from yourself to what may have caused it.
