Cost of W202 Air con condensor?

Does anyone know the cost of the above? I've got a hole in mine and was wondering the cost of it from Benz. Or do I go get an aftermarket pattern part from Ebay...? Any advice would be helpful!

If you hunt the internet or ebay you'll find a new Mercedes one at a knock down price, I wanted a side skirt for my 43 and found a place that sold me a new one for £100, dealers wanted a fortune for the same thing.

Probably best if you go to an aircon specialist. I had mine replaced/system recharged last year for about £270 if mmy memory hasn't deserted me totally.

Having said that it broke again afterwards!

D'oh! That is my fear also! I've been quoted over 420 yim yams for the entire job of replacement, fitment and re gas! Ouch!

I've paid £300 for the same work in a shed in the London suburbs. Still ice cold two years on.

Ordered a condensor from GSF parts today at a cost of 118 buck a roo's. I am going to attempt to fit the thing on the drive with the help of a friend. Should be a simple job, I suppose.

It is quite possible that the reason my air-con failed a second time was just bad luck - could have been a stone thru it. Never confirmed that. I did find the receipt...£269 which means my memory is totally pickled...yet:bannana:

350 quid fitted new from waterhouse mercedes never gone wrong since.. cheap if you ask me
