Great thread resurrection! This left me wondering how common these are, and howmanyleft shows that of 330 registered by the turn of the century, just 74 left are still left on the road. Plus 99 on SORN...

I found somewhere someone from AMG said that 320 went to the UK, and I think there are around 60 left. Mine is SORNed but was MOTd up until end of last year.
I will work on getting nice pics up, but unfortunately this is a bit of a rescue mission - the previous owner 'fixed' some rust problems by sticking chrome bits over the top with self tappers - theyre everywhere. So I have repaired the bootlid, need to do the doors and bumpers and get her welded up and painted. Engine seems good, only 137k miles. Suspension feels as good as any new car too.
Hoping it will be back on the road in 2 or 3 months in showcar condition or as close to as possible.
The 1st pic is from when I picked it up and pulled off a full bin bag worth of stickers and other nonsense. Some of its still on the ground from the front of the car.
