Couple of videos from last nights OpenTrack event at Brands. After a week of decent sunshine the heavens opened for most of the day! Luckily the rain stayed to a minimum during the track time and we even saw a slight dry line develop. I was running on the AD08Rs on my road wheels and although I'd brought my Cup rubber on the 507 wheels, I never changed over.
We came with 2 cars (C63 and MR2) and 4 passengers. MR2 didn't have a tow eye so didn't get past sighting which left it to the Merc to be Hatch taxi for the evening with back to back stints. RaceChrono told me I'd done 1 hour 49 minutes, 56 miles and 47 laps! Best time was a 1:02:49 in the damp, 2 seconds quicker than my old A220 D in the wet (oops) and a full 8 seconds slower than my old Clio in the dry.
Car felt very balanced, understeer was easily felt and easily held, oversteer was a little harder to gauge but the car helped me out with 'small testes' mode enabled. The C63 continues to impress...it's not a track car but it has a good go at beating any tarmac it meets into submission.
