Has anyone suffered any cracks on the inner rim of their alloys?
I've had an E class saloon from new (spt 2008) for under 3 years and have had to have all 4 original alloys replaced. Each weel has had the identical defect, a small crack (approx 3cm in visible length)on the inner rim.
The replacement fronts fitted in Nov 2009 and Sept 2010 havent had any further defects. The two rears started deflating this week at 57000 miles, both are cracked/split.
Not sure whether mine are just a bad set or whether there is an underlying problem.
