Cracked Windscreen!

I have been nursing a small Screen Chip in the Front Screen for a while now, and as I am thinking of Trading in for another M, I was considering getting the Screen Replaced!

Yesterday afternoon, small and very short trip to the Shops and I heard a loud Crack on the LH Side of the Screen, got home to discover a Crack around 9 Inches long going from Centre Left and toward the Centre!

Discussing things Online Chat between AUTO-WINDSCREEN and my Insurance as to whether they will cover the cost of an Original Signed Screen, no decisions as yet, but I can only hope!

Insurance Computer says "No" unless I pay an extra £360 and I am not ensured that I would get either a Signed or Mercedes Stamped Screen!

If only I could! I have been searching (Carwow) for over three months now and there is FA in my Spec available, there are loads at lower Specs for renting though!

I thought it was only me that noted that!

It can't the the "C" word!

It MAY the the "B" word!

Maybe someone that works in the Mercedes Car Sales Industry could care to comment?

Just get it replaced. Nobody is going to be concerned about a non MB replacement screen, its the norm. I would be pleased it has a new screen ...crystal clear an usually quieter.
