Approx 10 months ago i had both my front wishbone bushes changed on my W202 C250. The car had its MOT done yesterday and it appears that my 2 front wishbone bushes are both cracked again. They're isn't any excessive play in them and it passed its MOT but the chap did tell me about it.

The car has upgraded Lorinser shock absorbers which have stiffened the ride, but i'm only running 16" wheels. I'm extremely surprised they cracked so quick! I would understand if one cracked, but both? Bushes were original MB parts.

Am i better off changing the bushes again now or wait till they develop some play in them?

Where the bolts done up to the correct torque with the car lowered onto the wheels ? If not tightened under load the bushes will twist and crack.
These bushes seem long lived both my cars are on the originals.

i'd go to the dealer and say het look less than a year and they have cracked, they will probablt rurn around and say youve modified the car,

Good point - genuine MB parts have a two year warranty now that are purchased from them!

The bushes are OEM parts, fitted by George Fraser, a very reputable garage, so i assume work was correctly done. They work on all my cars and have replaced these bushes on various MBs for me over the years. Never had a problem before, just surprised that they both cracked so soon.

MB will probably replace them FOC, but i will have to pay the labour to replace them.
