Have a look on Legitstreecars.com to take a look at an E63 that went through the auction house, it would appear that no one noticed it had about $40K of very well done performance mods fitted to it.

Someone got a bargain.

In the E-Class platform M157 signed a death sentence to anything FI M156. Very much like M113K did in the day to the FI M113 (read Kleemann superchargers).

Doubt it wasn't noticed. More like written off as being too aftermarket.
