W211 E200 K - they don't make em like they used to, which is why it's been replaced with a 911 :)
Does anybody else notice any 'creaking' from the front end when parking/manoeuvring at low speed.

Having searched the forum I could only find things relating to suspension/steering problems that should only affect older cars. Mine is exactly one year old with ~15k on the clock.

When the car was in last week I asked them to check it over but of course they could find nothing and, surprise, surprise, couldn’t hear anything.

I’m beginning to wonder whether it is a ‘standard’ feature.

Thanks

No, I've never noticed it on mine. But then I probably wouldn't notice it over the engine noise!

I have had this problem but it creaked continuously. The mechanic just sprayed all the linkage arms at the front end and it stopped after a couple of days. He seemed to think that the rubber bushes dry out.

That's what I thought, thanks Marcos. I'll take it in and get them to come out for a spin with me.

Mine does that when i reverse down my drive which is steep. I guess its the brakes but it seems too noisy for them since my other car has no issues.
