Creaking roof

Hi

I have noticed a creaking noice in my W211 E-class, initially I thought that this was coming from the head rests, now I am thinking it is the Panoramic Roof.

I have heard of problems with the W203 Coupe pano roof but not the W211.

Is this a common problem and if so can this be fixed or is it something that I have to live with.

It is a common fault and can be fixed.

The 211 roof makes a light ticking noise. The 203 one makes a loud cracking

Nope. It takes about 20-30 mins.
