cruise control stalk viano 2012

hi, i am trying to locate a cruise control stalk for my brother in laws 2012 viano. i have searched the usual places, ebay etc but i have come up short.

do any of you guys know where i might be able to get hold of one. obviously a brand new part is out of the question.

Tbh I'm surprised a Viano doesn't come with Cruise as stock but as M80 says eBay & iirc the cruise stalk is also used in the C Class

I was assuming it is a replacement for a faulty part.

sorry for not coming back to this sooner. yes it is a replacement for my bother in laws viano. it has snapped and was like that when he purchased it. i was wanting to get this as an xmas present but im struggling to get hol of one.

i did find somewhere but they kept inflating the price. they really didnt have good CS and i would rahter not give a business my money. but to dae they are the only place i have found a replacement.its like looking for hens teeth.

How much is a replacement from the dealers e.g. try Merc Newcastle via their eBay store and send them a message?

The reason I ask is the (more complicated?) wiper stalk for my w204 was about £70 from a dealer, and that was before I discovered the likes of MB Newcastle and Grangemouth who are quite competitive.

A wheel arch liner for my w212 was £48 off eBay 10 years old and £55 from MB Grangemouth brand new.

Unless you've got a quote, I wouldn't leap to the assumption that Merc aren't competitive on price for old vehicles. I believe the reduce the price of spares on cars older than 5(?) years as a matter of policy.

Think the part number you need is A639 545 08 24.. plenty of varying Cruise Stalks on eBay
