Hi Guys, please read the below and let me know if anyone has similar
I have a GLE 450 MY2019 bought new in 2020.
I test drove a 300D before my purchase and loved it but this GLE 450 is very bouncy over bumps. I have the airmatic suspension (lowers and raises the back for loading) and expected a smooth ride which I kinda get on flat tarmac but once on uneven roads the car bounces and sways really noticeably, more than any other vehicle I have ever had. I have lived on my street for 5 years and never thought my street was that bumpy till I got this car and almost have to consciously creep down the road to avoid swaying like a drunk sailor.
I had the car looked at when I first noticed it but Mercedes simply ran diagnostics and said it was fine. I am about to do the first service and I am tempted to pay the £120 and insist they test drive it and see how bad it is. just wanted to know if anyone has the same issue and it is just the car being prone to sway or are you all cruising around effortlessly over bumps
