I decided that I would give them a go. If I didn’t like them I would stick them up for sale on ebay.
A few days after I ordered them from palm automotive http://www.palmautomotive.co.uk/4trucks/acatalog/Mercedes_Accessories.html
A big very thin cardboard box arrived.
Inside the box was this
A nice zipped bag to keep the blinds in when not in use.
It contained the rear blind (in 2 halves), both side blinds and the clips and instructions for fitment.
The instructions could be better (bigger pictures would help) but after getting all the clips out it became apparent as to what went where. The rear blind is held in place by 2 clips that slide under the headlining. The bottom of the blinds is held by being between the 3rd brake lamp and the window.
The side blinds have 2 clips at the bottom that sit between the inner window seal and the door panel at the bottom of the blind & a small plastic clip that is held on with double sided tape at the top.
If anyone wants some photos/better photos I will put some up when I have my camera charged up.
Here are a few camera phone shots to show the effect.
Overall they have been fitted for a few days without a problem (and that includes driving with the rear windows wound down for a while, I wanted to see if the blinds would dislodge or fall off).
So far so good
