Cycle carrier - new alu style

Hello

Hoping someone can help me out...

My wife recently threw out my mercedes roof rack (don't ask!!!) and I recently replaced it only to realise that the attachment pieces for my two new alu style cycle racks were also thrown out these are now pretty much useless. Went to Mercedes who say that they don't have any of the fitting kits left not even in Germany!!! So not looking good. Does anyone have any ideas as to where I may get these two t strips of metal or who manufactures the cycle racks in case they may be able to help.

Any help gratefully received otherwise I'm contemplating divorce

Been searching but can't find any its basically two strips of metal that slide into the roof rack rails the cycle carrier then bolts to the strips to fix to the roof rack...will carry on trying to search for pics...

Can't see the picture but can you get some threaded U-bolts fabricated to lock the rails onto the racks ?

That's the system Thule have used for years.

It's the opposite system the cycle rack actually bolts to the metal strips which slide into the roof rack rails. I'd need to get those fabricated somehow...

Tell me about it she thought she was throwing away the roof rack for my previous car...I already scrapped them 3 months before!!!

Just make them. Its only a threaded bit of steel.
