For the second time in 3 years I had another damaged and cracked Alloy.

Kwik fit had just fitted 3 new tyres and had not noticed the damage.i say this cause I travelled only a few miles sice tyres changed.Anyway had to go to Merc this morning who said it was dented and new wheel needed at my expense. Now I was on my way for a 400 mile trip,so not on a space saver. So along with new wheel ,I have had to hire a car for 4 days.
Ford Fiesta 1.4 deisel and a good wee car it is too.Miss the cruise & auto though.

Only good news is that the wheel to be replaced was my most corroded & kerbed and would have cost me to refurbish before going back to lease company.

I just think quality of the wheels are rubbish or the pot holes are getting more aggresive

Your E class sport will have 18" wheels with very thin tyres... this is your answer...

I have had one of those crack too... same rim
