Damp smell

my wife’s c220 has not moved since being covered in snow last week so today she decided to finally use it and said she noticed it had a damp smell inside ,there’s no damp patches or water marks anywhere inside so am presuming it’s just because it’s sat around in the cold and snow or would there be any other issues

Cabin filter? Check windscreen scuttle drains.
Check the underlay under the footwell carpets.

There should be an MB document that shows the drains for your chassis, get a copy and go round and see they are all working properly....

did she turn off the aircon when she was inside the car? sounds like the aircon system needs a clean, and if there is no cold air coming through, regassed as well.
