Have a DART account minimally used for rare east M25 jaunts, recently advised it would be closed as in deficit. Checked and found both south/north charges allocated on 25th June, only I was down deepest southwest in another car that day!
Called them today and queried in case there was a clone plated car building up problems for me.
Seems their anpr kit was confusing my 5 alphanumeric reg with a similar one!

Well, If they have problems with 5 alphanumerical then God knows how many errors they have with the standard 7!!
For those with auto top up accounts I'd suggest you keep an eye on your charges, looks like the DART system is flakey to say the least.
Cheers, Tony

Not been impressed with their records, when I changed cars and transferred my reg it took them 6 months to update. I queried it and they said we use DVLA database, funny that coped with my car tax in one day!!!!

I recently had an email telling me the credit card used for auto top-up was approaching expiry. But the account is on manual top-up, and always has been ...

No problems other than that - crossing history is fine.

I've had many arguments with them in the past year.

They're awful.

Unfair pricing strategies (making a certain number of crossings add up to £10.02 meaning you have to keep topping up a minimum of a tenner at a time) etc.

Plus double charging and the like.

I'm quite relaxed but they make my sh1t itch.
