Right guys ,my c220 drives perfectly until it rains heavy or it's been washed and then the dash starts to flicker on and off ,am I presuming there's water getting in somewhere like the fuse box and if so any ideas on cures, has anyone else had this problem

Make sure the lid is correctly fitted on the engine compartment fuse box (off-side top left corner under the screen) as the screen scuttle drains over that corner.

You are in possession of a W204, the lad in the link below, with the same car, had some electrical problems which he tracked down to the front SAM (Part of Fuse box under bonnet)

See… http://forums.mbclub.co.uk/threads/w204-electrical-gremlin-help.231856/#post-2548255

Some corrosion/bad contacts seemed to be the cause of the problems.

It’s not so much water getting in, it’s more to do with condensation/dampness resulting I corrosion which cause bad electrical contacts.
