Dashboard backlight

Does anyone knowchow to brighten or dim the dashboard backlight on an r171 slk(owners manual still not arived from dealer),thanks for any help!

The little buttons on the left hand side of the instrument binnacle should do it. One resets the display e.g trip meter/fuel consumption back to zero and the others do the brightness - ours is an early 171 so yours may be different
