I have a c class with very pleasant light grey artico interior. My problem is that in bright sunlight I get troublesome reflections on the windscreen. Has anyone overcome this problem? I hope to have a "proper job" ie I don't wan t to spoil the pristine interior. Thanks

i think thats a common trait

my 124 with a black dash does exactly the same thing with bright sunlight.

The only way is to make the surface non-reflective.

Many sports / race cars use material like suede or alcantara.

Needs to be the right grade material or the heat can cause it to shrink and warp the dash.

A Black golf towel works wonders.

I knew there had to be a worthwhile use for one...

What do golfers use their towels for?

Ah, yes. To wipe their balls!!

I think the black golf ball towel might be just the right answer - it will avoid any messing about with the original. Thanks

If you wipe it down with Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber stuff (which is for plastic), and leave it on then it dries glossy, but if you wipe it off promptly it dries matt.
Using AG Glass Polish on the inside helps too.

Armorall produce a matt dash spray, and it works :)
