Hello all,

My C180 has developed some sort of error within blower system. When I switch my Car ON it starts Click Click sound from middle of dashboard. My guess is its from behing the Cd player..Sound is like as if something is trying to open or is rotating. This sound stops after few minutes of running blower system. This thing started when we had heavy snow couple of weeks back..Can anybody help

Hi have you tried opening the CD Player casette?

Might be a blower flap actuator motor.....pretty common for these to go. It's an electric motor that does what a cable did faultlessly for decades.

stepper motor matey - not an easy fix in most cases. Have a search on here for more info.

Well Guys ...funny enough ...it did not made that sound from last two days....Will check/search for stepper motor now...& if it arises again will post the comment..

No its still an issue....As it ws cold today.. i started hearing the sound...any link which shows step by step how to eliminate this issue
