Im swapping my Blackvue for a Goluk T3. Reading reviews and looking at video's the Goluk T3 records at 12mbps at 1080p whereas the blackvue is only around 7mbps

I'm thinking about hacking together a 360° security cam inside the car, primarily for when parked.

The device will be attached to the ceiling and will take images and video when both vibration and proximity are activated. The camera tracks rapidly around to the source of movement. The idea is my phone would get immediate notification and a link to the uploaded images on Dropbox or Google Drive. The videos will upload in 1-3 minute chunks. They can be stitched together afterwards, quite easily.

Dash Cam Query

Hi, I am looking for a professional Dash Cam Installer, I have a Blackvue DG500 which I took out of my last car, which was installed via Power Socket, no problem, but now I want it hard wired in my GLC, all the websites I have looked up seem to be somebody working from home, who then sends out a local fitter. I live in the Bromley Kent area, and was wondering if anybody has used any business down this way, and are satisfied with the service.

I've not used anyone but read elsewhere here that one or two were very pleased with the fitting service from Halfords. The car audio firms have the requisite skills for this kind of work too, so maybe ring around a couple?

All you need is an auto electrician! Nothing specialist about it.

Ok will try Auto Electricians, I am told Halfords are reasonably priced so will try first. Thanks.

When I spoke to the girl in Mercedes, l believe she said don't connect to the fuse board, that doesn't sound right to me, thanks for your reply.

Most cars have quite a few spare spots of differing amperage, in the fuseboards eh? Mine has four (!) fuseboards, though I can only get to one without using tools.
