261 is willow green metallic according to this useful list of paint and other codes from MercedesMedic: Mercedes Benz Paint Code Location & Name.

Do you remember this post from last month on your tailgate handle? http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/2253036-post8.html it suggests Willow Green cars normally had Kiwi Green mouldings, but lists 6 other Grey colours used for the handle.

I will have another sniff through EPC/WIS to see if the grey options for side mouldings can be narrowed down.

Yes it is original. The tailgate trim was finally sourced direct from MB Germany and only comes in the one colour = Grey. This matches the bumpers etc.

Bruce, found this US website that lists the 7 matt paints used on 'lower panels'.

As to which one is on your car, maybe there's a plate or label somewhere that holds one of the 7xxx numbers? I think some are too close to each other on the screen to judge by eye.

Curios. On the data card some of the numbers are incomplete? Written as 2.... why would that be?

On the data card pdf, the rows above 'SA Code:' are actually in 2 columns. The formatting seems to have been lost in copying and pasting into the message.

The ... are just fillers within the column cell for the name of the individual items.

Maybe you have to get a couple of touch up or aerosols of the likely numbers as listed on the Paintscratch.com website and check out sample panels against the actual paintwork?

Here is the car. It is the rear bumper colour that I need.

I have a very small scuff/scrape under the N/S tail light which is through to the primer and annoys me. I may have to stick on an AMG badge or a few Black Series badges to cover it up.
