Hello all
I have a merc CL 500 year 2000
I dont drive this very much
And now the battery is completely flat
So the auto opening and locking of doors dont work
I can open the doors with the key
But i need to open the boot to charge the battery
The key will not open the boot
Can anyone help

have you got the + black box in the engine bay? if so connect red jump lead to it and the black lead to earth . not very familiar with this merc so might be wrong about the box

There is no jump point on one of these

Hi, you can get a charger that charges thru the cigar lighter! A few mins should be enough to pop the boot.
