Slightly pointless making a car like that 'electric' TBH isnt it? without the V8 noise it losses a massive part of its appeal

When you see video like this, its the noise that makes you want it. The silence just doesnt make you want it.

I've seen a Tesla around a race track. At first it confused me because from a distance it was clearly going quickly but making no noise, I wondered how. But as it become closer there was a distinctive aerodynamic wind noise and then as it rounded a corner a long and loud sequel of tyres. I then realised what it was. It was fun hearing the tyres so clearly unlike in ICE cars. But there is something special about a loud exhaust note I agree.
