Hi, this is probably familiar to a lot of CLK w208 owners when the clock on the instrument display becomes unreadable due to dying digits. I dont suppose there is a quick fix (or cheap) for this but I think I have found an acceptable alternative. A quick search on Amazon under car clock revealed an oval lcd clock with a walnut finish to match the rest of the interior. Looks ok, easy to use and read, and under a fiver. The downside, no light at night.;)

There a various company's that repair the clusters, expect to pay around £100

If your handy order a new set of cluster ribbons from ebay for £20 and do the repair yourself. I did mine about 3 years ago and still perfect. Done a few for others also, its really not that difficult.

Thanks, just spotted them on E-bay, will try and find instructions. Well worth considering. Thanks.
