dealer broke bleed nipple during service (E63 W212)

I had the nipples shear off my CLK when it was having hoses changed, it upset me as it was an unexpected and, I thought, unnecessary, expense, but then, if it’s not rusted in it can’t be snapped off and the result was the car on the ramp for 4 days whilst new calipers were sourced and fitted.

Part of life, I don’t expect I’ll remember it on my death bed

They told me they extracted the screw and put a new one in.
Either way, i didn't pay for it to be resolved


And thank you everyone for your input in to this, it was a truly shocking main dealer & mercedes experience.
