hi there all
i have a w203 c class mercedes, 2001/yreg c180 so far i have tinted the windows and have put in beige leathers, i have got hold of the folding mirrior modules and the switch part, also the wiring and folding mirriors from the car, i have fitted it all up, and went to the dealers to get it coded using star diagnostics, they had no clue what i was talking about and got a technician to spaek to me and he also drew a balnk and said there was no way that it could be 'coded' or anything like that on the merc as its 'can bus' which is not what it says on the forums, so please if anyone knows what to do or what to say to them i would be really greatfull, or better still just to rub it in a 'how to' using their own star diagnistics program, and if anyone knows where i can get it done cheaper than the dealers 1 hour labour charge (£105+vat) please let me know. many thanks to all who help regards merc man!
