Decent Alarm/remote locking kit (S124)

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone here has fitted a remote alarm/immobilisor kit to their 124...?
I had a nasty experience today involving some peasant trying to break into my car (Which contains nothing but a lighter and a packet of cigarettes!)

Luckily one of my customers saw the event and sent the offender running... But it made me think about the security of my car. My insurers seem to think that there's already an alarm fitted, but there's no tell tale LED light on the switch panel and I've not been able to trigger the alarm by leaving granny in the car.... So I'm pretty sure it doesn't have one!

Any help appreciated.

Scorpion SA30 is possibly a direct replacement for the one likely to be in your car (but not functioning). Do you have the movement sensors attached to the A pillar?

There's no sensors in the car.
I don't believe there's a system fitted.

Send me your VIN, I will have a look to see if the Alarm is listed (age dependent) as part of the original build spec.
