As some of you may be aware, the driver's side clear indicator needs replacing due to a chip / crack in the lens. It is not a huge deal, but the car is in excellent condition and I would like to keep it that way :)

So. I want to EuroCarParts and asked for a clear indicator for a 2000 plate, W202 MB, only to be told the Bosch units are out of stock and they don't know when they will be getting some in. Marvellous. :wallbash:

So. I go onto eBay. I buy a Bosch, used indicator. I even spoke with the seller on the phone, seemed like a nice chap, assured me it is in greta condition etc.

I get the indicator and the clips are snapped!:wallbash::mad:

Question I have is, can anybody care to rec a decent breaker, be it somewhere in London I can physically go to, or somebody on line that you have know / have dealt with and who wouldn't send me a broken part?

:(

Have you tried Nick Mercedes on here ? Nick sells new parts and can usually locate items like this .

I have also used Boss Parts in Leeds ( specialist Mercedes breakers ) with good experience - sorry I don't have contact details here at work .

Thanks folks. I have sent Nick a PM and hopefully he'll come back to me with a price / availability.

I paid £15 for mine posted, which ain't bad. I have contacted the seller by leaving him a voicemail. I will await to hear from him to see if he wants to

(a) refund
(b) replace

If he doesn't play ball, I will get PayPal on his ass as it was an eBay transaction and I will get a refund that way ;)

Incidentally, here is my lens, which has a chip on the front lens, compared to what was sent to me. I am not sure of the seller knew or not...I will give him the benefit of the doubt.
