Problem: moved to a larger house. Only one phone socket at one end of the property. This is connected to a cordless phone with 3 handsets.

JUST NOT GETTING A GOOD RECEPTION AT THE OTHER END OF THE HOUSE AND KEEPS DISCONNECTING. Apol for caps.

What is the best solution here?

Is there a solution that does not involve calling BT and paying for additional sockets?

Somewhere in the long distant past I thought you could piggy back dect systems?

Advice would be most welcome.

TIA

Most brands do DECT repeaters / range extenders to extend signal.

I have one of these:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004R1D5B4/?tag=amazon0e9db-21

Just plug it in to the mains at a strategic point: that is all there is to it really. And if you have a palace it is possible to link six of them scattered about the place to one base station.

Do make sure though that whatever repeater you get matches your base station and phones. Probably best to stick to same maker.
