these delivery charges from Dell seem to a rip off.. i'm sure its cheaper for me to fly over and pick it up in person! Is this just another money making scam?

no, it's their courriers, Walsh Western, who are possibly the worst and most expensive in the world.....They realy need to change

im sure dell are making a packet on the delivery anyways.

As I understand it, WW charge Dell about €15.00 per delivery......you do the maths...

It's just marketing. :rolleyes:

<sarcasm> Ah but its all in P&P, emphasis on &P! Its postage, AND PACKING, £15 for postage, and abput £85 to pack! If Dell didn't pack those lovely beige boxes the way they did they would rattle the moment you turn them o-....oh.. ops, forget it
</sarcasm>

mines supposed to be arriving today after 5 weeks , they managed to lose the first, so its worth paying their expensive carraige eh!
