Without going into too much (any?) detail...

Deloitte of KPMG...

If you had a choice to pick working for one of the above, which would it be? (and no; "neither" isn't a choice here :p)

M.

P.S. Assuming ceteris paribus

Kong , better experiences of them when used to undertake consulting work. Must say something about their , management, training and ethos.

Our son in law works for KPMG and speaks very highly of them

My younger brother is ex Kpmg .... Best company in the world he says

Both are Consulting Consultants.... tell you the time with your own watch.
As long as that's what you want, then you'll be good.

KPMG then.

I am perplexed by the original post
:dk:
It's a bit like me asking :
Do you prefer to buy your 70/30 copper-nickel tubes from KME-Germany or MGI-Imhauser Germany ?

Am I missing the trick somewhere ?

I think that's precisely the point - knowing very little of the inner workings of KME and MGI, some advice is always nice.

Also, getting feedback on the market reputation of both MGI and KME can sway the decision either way...

Heh. I love the difference between this forum and e.g. the Talkford forum, where the poll would be more likely to be "Natalie Portman or Keira Knightley?" :D

Defiantely Keira.............except on a Tuesday of course.........:D

In which case - I'm your man.
The relevance to this forum is that they both can make copper-nickel brake pipes.
;)

Neither, but I do work for EY :D

Weird question.

There will obviously be people who's had excellent and terrible experiences at both companies.

How you enjoy your role within a large corporation, will be 100% dependant on the small fraction within the company you work for and most importantly the quality of your colleagues.

Personally I reckon both sounds fekking dreadful.

Exactly.

I used to work for PwC and know a lot of people now spread across the big firms.

The experience is always the same: big firms are not a monoculture, each division and specialist unit within has their own working environment.

You may be in a happy, functional, well ordered group with a decent set of partners but a few yards away could be a hell hole run by a lunatics. Been there and got the T shirt.

At times it is hard to credit people are talking about the same place.
