I met him once, it would have been over 25 year ago

We were both travelling on a train from London to Beaconsfield.

We sat opposite and after a few minutes he asked if he may have a look at the Evening Standard I had bought but wasn't reading.

He read quietly for the journey then neatly folded the newspaper and thanked me for letting him read it and wished me a good evening.
