I have a very similar looking CLK500 Convertible but with Designo black ash instead of aluminium trim....same vintage too!

That is a seriously good looking CLK55, I love the colour. But £23k!
Umm ... nice car but not keen on the colour myself. Probably better in the metal than it looks in the pics. (dark brown!).

It's a kind of Plum Black/ Aubergine colour. Not brown at all, that must be your monitor playing tricks on you.
It really is a rich deep colour in reality, always made the S class look nice.

We had a 330Ci sport conv in BMW Individual 'Mora' metallic which was similar, but a tad lighter in colour. Miss it a bit....
