Detail, Bonnet paint thickness

Hi all,

I hope everyone is well.

I am currently detailing the A-class and noticed MB didn't spray the bonnet properly inside.

Now they said bring it down so we can measure the paint thickness.

If I reduce the paint thickness a little, will I still have a claim or should I not bother because I will be shown the door? The car is 2 years old.
