Looks good. Proper job! Don't go parking under trees now ...

I would be careful with air freshener so close to leather and wood.
What next, alloys refurbs?

Yes im going to have to get rid of that air freshner lol, it was from the previous owner ;) Yes alloy refurb or even a change of alloy wheel will be on the list. :)

I have the same wheels, Rucha. They're not mega expensive and I like them, easy to clean and not too fussy and enough surface to reflect nicely. My plan is to buy two new Ruchas, then get the old wheels refurbed in pairs ending up with two spare refurbed wheels, use one to replace the silly space saver spare (full size fits in both saloon and estate) and sell the one remaining.

Vey nice. You're a fast worker. That would take me at least a week to complete. :o

Engine bay cdi

Cleaned the wheels and arches , and made a start cleaning the engine bay. She is booked in on the 7th to have the glow plugs and Auto transmission filter and fluid change too,

Car looks nice a great job on the inside, now all thats done better sort out that wonky garage door, get an electric opener one of the best things i ever bought.

Yes the Garage door is certainly on the list, It was fine till the wife drove her car through it rather than opening it lol

And I thought I was the only one who cleaned under the bonnet. As sad as it is I even clean the exhausts under the car I think I have car OCD as don't even like it when the car gets wet. I will put some pics up when I get the chance
I just can not understand people who drive nice cars and don't bother to look after them.

My thoughts exactly, going to attack the rocker cover next but will have to wait till i get it back from having the glow plugs done next wk.

Underneath will be coming, although it does mean having to remove all the splash guards from the floor of the car, may even clean it all and paint it before refitting them. :)

How long have you had the car is it a recent purchase. Got mine last week. On my 4th merc now but never had a 3 litre before.
Had a V6 XR4i many years ago but that was a 2.8

Had it about 2 wks, changing the Radiator tomorrow as it had the old Valeo unit in there, £200 later plus fitting doh...

Ive not had the newer Merc's before (i say newer) all my Previous ones have been from the eighties, one 4 pot two 6 post and 3 v8's.

Really like the smoothness of the diesel and torque to

Out with the old in with the New!

Well, just thought i may as keep all my pics of the car and whats bin happening in this thread.

As some of you guys will know i was worried about wether my car had the old style Valeo Radiator.

I removed the Belly pan and couldnt find a makers mark, so then i removed the slam panel! hey ho i white lable faintly showed Valeo, no other part number as it was far to faint obviously the original unit.

So i sourced a new Raditor through my usual channels, and had my local guy fit it. £198 later all good. Been using the car over this wkend making all is good as she is having the glow plugs and autobox fluid n filter change tomorrow.

Also gave her a wash down and polish as got caught out in the rain lol

Here's the Old Rad.
