I'm aware there are a few options as to levels of cleaning / restoration / repairation of paintwork etc, but does anyone have a guide as to ballpark costs for the various works?

I'm keen to maximise and protect my black SL, but I want to get a decent base detail (whatever that is) done professionally (dependant upon costs) and then I can work to maintain this periodically as necessary.

All help appreciated.

Thanks
Tim

Contact midlands car care, they are one of the best in my opinion, it depends if you want a full paint renovation etc, might be worth looking at things like cquartsuk after a single stage polish, cquartsuk is a ceramic coating which will protect and also make scratches etc much harder to make. Plus washing is just a case of running a hose over it and all mud and dirt etc pretty much falls off... Can do wheels and windows etc.

Hi,

This really depends on what you have completed on your vehicle. But to give you an idea and what 99% of members have completed, I.e.

-Paint Correction Detail.
-Wheels off deep clean.
-Complete interior detail.
-Crystal lacquer protections for paint, wheels & glass (Gtechniq C1, G1, C5 & EXOv2)

Is between £1200.00 & £1600.00.

But obviously this is 5-6 day detail to put the car back to fantastic condition and give the car upto 50,000 miles of protection if maintained appropriately.

Kind Regards
Michael

That's more than I was thinking of spending, perhaps we can discuss options, where are you based?

Where are you? If North, I can put you in touch with someone that will do a good job economically.

Really need to get round to getting some quotes in the new year to sort out my swirly black CLS.

Have one firm to try but would be interested in getting another quote from a recommended contact if you'd be so kind. I'm in Manchester.

No problem at all. My studio is in Maidenhead Berkshire. I have lots of clients in surrey, so not too far from you. I'm popping into my studio on Saturday as there's a lot of new clients coming for consultations then. So if your free sat morning then contact me for the address,

Kind Regards
Michael

I'm in Surrey. You can come and look at my Phantom which Michael caressed for a week recently.

Hi Bud, I'll send over the details for M3W detail/crystal lacquer detail. I've got some interesting info that also can be done too the Morgan. Let me know it's delivery date from the factory so we can get it protected ASAP.

Cheers Mike

Before Xmas. It is the most fun you can possibly imagine and much more enjoyable than any supercar I've driven.

I had one to use for a couple of weeks, there great fun! Lots and lots of torque. The MX-5 gear box works a treat too:)
