Hi everyone,

This is my first post so bear with me. Just wanted to share my experience with an independent specialist in Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire. The Company is Diagnatech LTD and they were AMAZING.

Their workshop and facilities are a marvel, I would strongly recommend just popping by to have a look and to have a chat with the guys there.

I found them to be extremely helpful and professional but at the same time personal.

I shopped around for a price on a B service for my E320 CDI and Diagnatech came very highly recommended by one of my neighbours. I had already enquired at other independents and I was delighted to find Diagnatech was actually the most reasonably priced.

I will never take my car to anyone else and I felt obliged to tell as many people as possible to show my gratitude.

Good Morning,

I'm a single lady nearby to Welwyn Garden City, I have seen this post about Diagnatech and if anything Jimb0's comments do not do enough justice.

I too were recommended to go and see James and Paul after having been charged £100's for a strange noise coming from under my car. Couldn't tell you what I wasted my money on the first time round but within minutes at Diagnatech my car was in and checked and rectified with a clip that holds a cable up under the car.

Because I was a first time customer and the repair only took a few minutes whilst I enjoyed a lovely cup of tea in their comfy waiting area they insisted there would be no charge and they look forward to seeing me for any future work.

I was ever so grateful and have used them and recommended them on many occasions and wish I had found them sooner.

Thanks Diagnatech and I hope people go and see them to experience it for them selves.

Diagnatech are trying to build their internet profile and have asked if i would review them on this forum to share our experiences weather good or bad. They have a customer computer station and I certainly am only too pleased to share my experience whilst I'm waiting for a service and MOT.

Why would you be against someone who is really worth knowing.

Very disappointed with your comments. That's not what MB Club is supposed to be for is it ?

I can only speak personally but I would not go anywhere near a company that tries sneaky, amateur, advertising by proxy. If it can create fiction like yours to try to boost business, it makes me wonder how much fiction would be created when it comes to the work done & bill

I had a similar experience with my Range Rover Sport, only difference being the noise was emanating from a peasant I'd run over who'd got stuck.

This member also got some work done for free.

I love free.

AVOID!!! Diagnatech of Welwyn Garden City quoted me 3.2 hours of labour at over £250 to change an E320CDI W211 facelift lower ball joint.

Had one done for under £25 for labour - but that is from the top specialist. Others quoted more than that but no one quoted even remotely close to the outrageous amount Diagnatech quoted!
