Diagnostic tool

Good evening folks, I am looking at fitting a tow bar to my 2017 E220d and using a dedicated wiring harness, I’m lead to believe it will require “coding” after being fitted so the question is do any of the aftermarket diagnostic tools including ones covered in this forum have the ability to code the car post tow bar fitment?

I'd say no. The cost of a visit to a Merc indie would be cheaper and more positive.

I have a iCarsoft CR Max and fairly sure it can't do any coding.
