We've had a fabby time :D

Had a friend round Saturday afternoon so had a good old natter. Then Saturday night went out and drank rather a lot

Yesterday did a bit of stuff in the garden, went to see my Mum for her birthday, then came home and had the first jug of Pimms of the season :bannana: and a barbi.

Today, been in the garden most of the day. Went to see friends and sat out in their garden, then came back to more of our garden.

See the theme here ;) basically the weather has been nicer than it was meant to be. A tad warmer too so it's been lovely to be outside for most of the time. Hope it's been the same for everyone else :D

Oh - and sorry for those back to work tomorrow - I'm off all week :bannana: :bannana: and the forecast is for it to be nice :bannana:

oh - just the usual really - ;)

got a daughter married off

legless Saturday night - can only remember a few minutes out of 3 hours
and that was changing my shoes in the Valley Gardens

Family round Sunday and gave some beers away

took married daughter to Manchester airport - on route to Cancun, Mexico
Sara that is, not me

Anyone else . . .?

Driving a Kubota Saturday for a new Three phase supply for our data centre, not a nice job as we have 7 different services to dig through, including two BT fibre optics!! (nervous or what!)

Went to another Data centre in London to work on Sunday, and today a bit of landscaping with the digger whilst I still had it. Oh, and put a deposit on a new car this afternoon :)

What you getting?

Must be a car buying weekend, sold my W124 Friday night, suffered on Saturday as I was car-less - visited Cardiff by train met some friends and drank beer.

Sunday, drove to Pembroke in the Wife's Toyota Yaris ( a right buzz bomb, good fun but no Benz ), payed for my new W140 S500. Drove back fairly steadily to check everything was ok and not loose the wife travelling behind me.

Today, drove S500 ( listening to Van Morrison chilled out on the CD player) on a 250 mile round trip :bannana: :D :bannana: to look at a 51 plate Toyota Celica for said wife, who liked it so much we've gone a put a deposit down and struck a trade in deal on the Yaris. Picking that up next weekend. Another buzzy trip in the yaris for me, but the drive home should be fun, the Celica's handle quite well.

Garden gone to the dogs I'm afraid!

Must say that this weekend did not go to plan.
Training on Sunday morning and in a heavy tackle (I play American football for the Lancashire Wolverines) I felt somthing snap in my arm.
Several hours (at hospital) later and I have a confirmed ruptured bicep.
Got a few days before I see the specialist and decide if I want to have surgery or not.
NOT a good weekend but hey the weather was nice ;)

Sunday Took dogs to Lytham for a walk. Bruno hadnt seen sand before and after his first mouthful decided that sand is not edible.
Monday chillin at home but did take the AM for a spin (not literally this time) over to huddersfield via Nont Sarahs & back to Manchester via the Woodhead Pass. Nice drive & not too much traffic.

Not wishing to hijack Pammy's thread!
Golf will stay until Jan '06 and then we can see if we replace it or not. Probably will, as the ML will be going up for sale soon.

Technically the AM V8 is still on order, however I have not received any correspondence from AM since confirming an order two years ago, but I do still have their letter to me from then, so ill see how that goes, but not bothered to be honest, it will be difficult for it to replace the sheer grunt of the CL and the comfort/gadgets/space too, plus...

I've already got £1k down on the new model CL63 (?) due late 2006, which looks the best bet so far.

So thats the plan....

Worked a bit in the garden.Me in the veggy plot, wifey doing shrubs/borders etc. Barbied stakes in the evening, few(?) glasses of wine.Monday went to Aberglasney House, an old manor house which is in the process of being renovated by British Heritage, nice day out. :) Walked out the back door across the cliffs, along the cliff path back into Mumbles.Great scenery, nice weather.(More nice weather please, whoever's in charge.) ;)

Same here, 4 shifts but it's all on nights, all paid at double time and a quarter, plus a day in lieu, plus 4 days holiday pay.

Work 4 shifts, get paid for 13 and have 4 days off when I want, works for me everytime.

The Agency only classes Bank Holiday Monday as an exceptional day, we are salaried to work weekends anyway , i work shifts too, over the weekend i was on earlies (6am to 2pm) so i got most of the day to myself anyway.

For working BHM we get 2 days pay and 1 days holiday, so i don't mind really...

No extra pay or time off for me when I work 7 days a week and Bank Hols! People moan about their bosses but you get out what you put in, and I also do it so I'm not asking people to do what I wouldn't do myself
