hi all,
i have 1992 W140 ,300 TURBO DIESEL(lhd) (s class)
its now time for a full engine rebuild ,i want a full strip down and repair /replace /rebore /regrind what ever it take to restore the engine to what it should be..
its burning quite abit of oil (white smoke ) and also chucking out a load of black smoke as well when you gas it...
in this last year i have had the head valve guides redone also new heater plugs referb the injectors,new timing chain ect,ect
but its still the same rattels like #### up to 2000 revs stinks of buring oil and idols a little eraticaly (vavle problem??)loads of money spent but still the same ...........
what i need to find is engine recondition (diesel)
place some near the west midlands who can do this kind of work to the highest standard.if if anyone can recommend some where please do.
ps .. other than that i love the car it drives a dream as long as i dont look in the rear view mirror(smoke) or open the window(smell)......rgs all......yuri
