Different Rear/front Tire Size?

Hello to all of you,

Is it normal for my 2006 W203 C230 to have a different size tyre (not wheel) at the front than the ones in the rear? I was told that this may not conform to SVA Test.

Mine has 225/45/17 front and 245/40/17 rears ...

Check your wheels again!
My 203 has stepped wheel sizes. The fronts are 7.5 inches and the rears are 8.5. therefore the tyre width and profiles are different.
This is fairly common with MB's as far as I know.

Yep, two different ones on my 203 too....pretty normal I feel!

Totally normal for most cars bigger than a Focus or thereabouts.
