Dipping Wing Mirror

Hi

I am driving a S320 CDi at the moment whilst mine is being repaired, on this car when you select reverse the Leftside passenger dips, can this mod be done to my SL?

I have electric folding mirrors same as the s-class.

If it can be done is it possible on other models such as our W140 S280 and our W124 E220.

I have a feeling it is a feature of having electric memory seats.

Do you have electric memory seats?

Yep in my hand book it says this only applies to memory seats.

I have memory seats in the SL but not the other two.

The S280 has electric seats but no memory, however the S320 does not memory seats either, but it is a newer car.

Have you tried selecting the left mirror switch on the joystick before selecting reverse? On My CLK430 2000 the mirror only drops if the joystick is selecting left mirror. Leave it on right mirror and nothing happens. On my W140 S320 1997 the mirrors don't dip at all. Both cars have electric seats but only the CLK has the memory function.
