disable remote boot opening on key

As the title suggests, any way to do this on my C Class? It has caused me problems, including slight damage to the boot which will irritate me for life!

Locking the boot with the key blade will stop it opening via the remote fob or cabin switch.
Check the boot/door locks regularly with the key blade as these locks can seize up due to lack of use with the key blade.
